5 Best Travel Agencies in Vietnam for Booking the Trip of a Lifetime

Local Expertise and Network - We examined the background and experience of the tour guides, as well as the variety of local experiences each agency offers.
To do this, we asked for information about partnerships with local businesses and testimonials highlighting unique, off-the-beaten-path experiences that only a well-networked agency could provide.

Customization and Flexibility - We directly contacted a few agencies, presenting them with specific requests (e.g., vegan dining options, accommodations with sustainability practices) to test their willingness and ability to tailor their services.

Sustainability and Responsible Tourism Practices - We looked for any certifications or affiliations with recognized organizations promoting sustainable tourism.
We also reviewed the descriptions of tours and initiatives to identify how they minimize impact and support local cultures and economies.

Transparency and Honesty in Pricing - We requested detailed quotes for similar travel packages from multiple agencies to compare inclusions, exclusions, and the clarity of the pricing structure.

A year ago, when I was planning my own trip to Europe, I had no idea where to begin. How do you even choose between the romantic streets of Paris, the historic ruins of Rome, and the stunning fjords of Norway?

With so many choices, I realized I needed some expert advice. So, I started doing my research. Eventually, I put together a list of the best travel agencies in Vietnam that offer unique experiences to suit different travel styles.

Now, let’s dive into the providers that will help make your journey unforgettable!

How much do travel agencies charge in Vietnam?

Travel agency fees in Vietnam start at around $25 for basic half-day city tours and can go up to over $150 per person for more extensive packages, such as two-day cruises in Halong Bay.

These services may include guided tours, accommodation arrangements, and various activities. The pricing varies widely, primarily depending on the complexity of the itinerary and the quality of services offered by the agency.

One great thing about this agency is its personalized service. You can tailor your trip to fit your interests and budget, which is perfect if you’re looking for a unique experience.

Amazing guide

“Our trip to Halong Bay was unforgettable, thanks to our amazing tour guide, Sam. The emerald waters and towering limestone islands were breathtaking. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, enhancing our appreciation of the bay. The itinerary was well-balanced with sightseeing, kayaking or lazy boating, and relaxation. We visited hidden caves, enjoyed delicious meals on the boat, and had time to swim at a packed beach. One minor downside was the long queue at the caves on the weekend, but our guide handled it smoothly. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Halong Bay. It’s a must-do for a memorable adventure in Vietnam!”

Wholeheartedly recommend for a detailed and excellent cultural trip

“It was the best travel agency we could have chosen for our trip, 15 days in Vietnam. The program required us to visit several different cities, although these were not tiring at all. We were filled with beautiful images, experiences, emotions, and got to know their so different but equally excellent culture. the guides were kind and helpful, explaining everything to us in detail. Hien, smiling, kind, with a lot of knowledge about the history of his place and an excellent professional, communicated with us daily about the program and the activities we have to do. I wholeheartedly recommend you, for your trip to Vietnam, to choose Hien and his company, and you won’t miss out 😉”

Best travel experience with a well-organized itinerary

“We are a group of 6 friends from Greece. I contacted them 2 months before the trip and asked for an itinerary for 15 days with all the places we would like to visit! I spoke with Hien the boss and he arranged everything. The hotels, the homestays, the tranfers from and to airports, all the tours and everything  in very good price. The itinerary was full, god organised to had the best experience and we never had delays to anything. We visited Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa and Fansipan mountain, Cao Bang region with waterfalls and god’s eye mountain and tiger cave, Danang, Hoi An and Ninh Binh.  The tour guides spoke good English and explained us everything about the history and the culture of the country and local people. The best travel experience ! Fully recommended. Hien and his team are the best. Don’t hesitate to choose them for your trip.  Thank you for everything!”

Extremely fun and informative cruise

“The cruise was amazing. Right from the start, Jasmine was easy to reach and was a huge help with coordinating the trip. The beds were very comfortable and Sam communicated the best things to do and see while on board. On our second day we went to Cat Ba island with our own personal tour guide, Ha. She was very informative and has a great personality, she was very outgoing and it made the trip to VietHai village extremely fun. The food was awesome, I had a great time and the staff on board were all very attentive and professional. Definitely would reccomend.”

Customized tour experience

“This is the 2nd time booking via BestPrice Travel. Last year we had a customized Vietnam tour and were very happy. This time we had 12 days customized tour (for 4 people) across Cambodia, Phnom Penh, Kep, Battambang and Siem Reap. Our travel agent Moon is in touch during our entire trip. There was a small amendment request from us during the trip. She responded promptly and made it happen. This kind of service deserves 5 stars from us. We were a small group of 4 people on a customized tour. Certainly the price wasn’t the cheapest. But we got very good value out of that. I highly recommend BestPrice Travel.”
